David Miles Books
David Miles’ work highlights the more sinister aspects of urban life and human psychology. His practice includes cut-card, mobiles, model making, painting, printmaking and artists books – all of which have a strong narrative element. Some works stem from personal stories, some are inspired by local history or news items, and others reveal more generic observations. Biography David lives and works in Brighton. He attended Falmouth School of Art and the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. He has exhibited widely, including solo exhibitions in Argentina, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada, USA and the UK (including The Lowry in Salford, Gimpel Fils in London and Brighton Museum).
